So as it turns out for the dragon part, EVERYONE needs to be from the same nation, as in Sandoria, Windhurst, Bastok. We unknowingly had our whm as a taru from windhurst and let me tell you that dragon with a red mage as the healer with a few warriors and a thief doesn't cut it. So learn from my mistake because you have no idea how close I am to quitting after all the time I wasted today towards that fight.

Yeah we found that out the hard way twice. Stahl and I were the only ones who got in the 2nd try. The rules for battle help are, that players who have already done their own dragon, can help anyone from any nation do any dragon. The other factor is that a player can go with another player as long as the 2 players have perfromed the quests duties identically (IE: They are from the same nation). If you dont meet either of those arrangements, it will send those who can go in the battlefield, and the rest have to sit it out at the burning circle. Oh and we found out you dont lose your armor or weapons if you go in there with 25+ gear on. That was relieving because I had full chainmail which is like 27+ but it didnt send me in there naked.

fight was cool when we won. Although the cure on our white mage lasted AN HOUR. It's basically the same thing as rez effects, it gimps your HP/mana and run speed. She wasn't too thrilled ^_^ Beating the shit out of the demon brought me great joy as well.

Well 2 nations can fight the same dragon, what determines which dragon you fight depends on which nation you visit first. Sandoria and bastok can fight the same windhurst dragon, but windhurst cant fight with em obviously. But Bastok and Wind can fight the sand dragon etc etc.
