Michigan defeats Michigan State 27-20 with a near upset finish.
Michigan's Chris Perry runs for over 40 carries and over 200 yards.
Great game!

Great example of Big 10 football there, beat 'em on the ground.
Chris Perry actually had over 50 carries and 220 yards. Odds on Heisman favorite now, he's leading the nation in rushing by a country mile.

The game shouldn't have even been close but Michigan fumbled and made a big defensive mistake both resulting in easy touchdowns.

If you truely think that Perry is the top Heisman candidate.... You sir, are... NOT well informed. Anyone who gets 50 carries, should have over 200+ yards rushing. If they don't they should be taken out back and shot.
And for Crists sake man, what the hell is your definition of a "country mile"? Before todays game, Perry was up on Tatum Bell by ONLY 13 yards. With the addition of today, you can add about 90-100 yards to that lead. IMO that is jack shit. Specially considering that Bell has a 2 TD advantage on Perry. And you know what? He is barely in the top 5 when it comes to the Heisman. FFS I think that Antonio Perkins has a better chance of winning the heisman (in regards to Perry).

thanx for agreeing with me, i don't like you, and you shoudln't like me based on agreement, we are currently neutral because you have displayed no acts of friendliness to me, besides agreeing with me, which cannot be construed as such an act, because opinions are unbaised on a board of faceless persons who only attempt to paint a fuzzy picture of what they want peopel to think of them, or don't care and just keep it to themselves.

f**k that, only sports that are remotely interesting are those where people physically must either destroy the other, or one wins based on the incapasitation to which they can defend themselves any longer.
thats what i think...

Honestly if you don't care.. dont post or read the post. I make it a point not to read your dribble so you can make it a point not to read mine. Akronn and myself have been having these arguements about college football for about 3 or 4 weeks now. I find it kinda fun.
I will agree with Clev though... big 10 football = boring.

Perry has been off the radar as far as the Heisman goes for most of the year, but that's all the networks were talking about once the Michigan game was finished. He's actually played the last two games hurt, but he simply refuses to quit.
Perry is the real deal, sorry if that upsets you!
Perkins doesn't stand a chance against Perry, they'll give it to the senior every time and a defensive player has won only once in something like the last 40 years (Michigan's Woodson in '97).

Really. You're a f*****g tool if you think that after yesterday. Let's see. Scores? Penn State v. Ohio State 20-21. Exciting f*****g game. Ohio State is the defending national champion. Michigan v. Michigan State 20-27 exciting game, down to the last second. Michigan State really showed up this year, coming back from a four win season last year. 7 ranked teams out of 11 at one point this season. The big ten championship was totally up in the air this year.
Excitement is always found in big ten football.

The Big 10 owns any other conference because the teams are even matched.
I would say 6 of the big 10 teams would be in the top 20 had they not been beaten by other big 10 teams.
f**k other conferences, f**k Michigan, go Buckeyes!

Perry wont get it. White will get it unless he dies in fire.
As for whether or not big 10 is the best conference. It is all in the eyes of the beholder. I personally think it sucks. When your alleged best team almost gets beat by San Diego st, penn st, and others... well it doesnt look good.
As for OU blowing out people. It is because Noone can touch them. Whoever the BCS throws at them in the championship game (unless they loose in thenext 4 games) will get beat like the rest. I really wish it would have been miami so I can put that "situation" to rest. Who knows.. It still could be Ohio State. And then we could finally get this Big 10 vs Big 12 discussion out of the way.
Right now, OU is the best team in the nation and Stoops is the best coach in the nation, and White is going to be your Heisman winner.

Interesting that you think the Big 10 sucks, yet the Stoops brothers both played at a Big 10 school (Iowa), along with other OU personnel.
I think geography plays a much larger role in which conferences you follow. I live in the Chicago area and went to the University of Iowa. All I hear about around here is Big 10 football and Notre Dame. (and I hate Notre Dame). Frankly I could give 2-s***s about the SEC or Pac 10, but that doesnt mean that I think they suck.

The QB on an undefeated team always gets Heisman consideration, which is a shame because White is far from the best QB in the nation, let alone the best player overall.
What was he last game? 12-28 for 199 yards, 2 TD, 2 INT.

Fitzgerald from Pitt. should win the heisman.
Anyways if by some miracle Ohio State makes it to the national championship I think they could pull it out, they play on the level of the teams they play.
Nobody thought Ohio State could beat Miami last year............

Yeah, last year Ohio didn't beat anybody 68-3 and they won over Wisconsin, Penn State, Purdue, Michigan, and Illinois by 7 points or less... so obviously they didn't stand a chance.

I watched that game. And honestly, Ohio state didnt win that game. The referee's gave it to them. That is the penalty for not having instant replay in college ball though.
I am curious as to who you think the best QB is the nation is. Looking at the stats I can only see a couple that would come close.
Ohio State couldn't pull their collective heads out of their asses if you gave them the opportunity. Playing to the ability of your opposition is not the show of a championship team. Winning in the last 3 minutes of how many games?, is not the show of a championship team... Both of those are the show of a LAZY team, with little talent and are hurting alot because their former star running back took some money from Alum's.
We could all argue this until we are all red in the face. Unfortunatly the only way to settle it is a RO-SHAM-BO. I go first
