I hae 256 RD ram in my dell at the moment, should i grab another 256 PC800 ram chip or should i just ditch the one i have and get a gig of cheaper ram?
what would you recomment?
what sites have good prices on ram?
is RD ram really worth it?

RD is a new type that clocks 2x as fast i think i heard, thats what i got

if he has RDRAM in his machine, ditching it probably isn't an option as it's prolly the only type of ram his system will take.
it is faster but not worth the higher cost. if you're not OCing your machine, then you should be fine with cheap ram.

RD ram is for intel boards I beleive not sure but it is better.
But to pick a new type of ram you need to give your Motherboards name and model number.
You can find out what type of ram it can use.

Well pc800 is rambus
DDR now is as good and better in latest boards.
Upgrade it, that stuff is really cheap now compared to what it was. Just remember you have to install RDRAM in pairs.
