saw it on IMAX today...
Enjoyed it a lot, special effects during the invasion into Zion are pretty amazing, and the story is not nearly as complicated as all those spoilers that have been out for a while. I give 3.5 out of 5 stars!

Such a let down. It didn't explain ANYTHING.
SPOILER...
Sooooo why exactly did the oracle's apperance change ( i know she died irl, but it didn't explain why see looked different other than she failed at something).
Why exactly could neo destroy the machines in the real world?
What exactly was the last scene with the oracle and the creator about?
So I guess Persephone wasn't important after all, and all the allusions made by the creator to some women in the second one was not valid?
Anyways big let down.

1 - As far as I knew by helping Neo she sacrificed her current life/shell... heard that somewhere not sure where though.
2 - Because being the one was not just in the Matrix it was also in the real world.
3- That was supposed to be your resolution to everything
4- The women were important. Trinity got Neo to the machine city while Niobe got the ship to the base, both led to the end of the war.
I totally agree it was a let down. The Neo/Smith fight was cool, but very badly cut I thought, but it does show that a Dragon Ball Z movie could be made well for flight fights lol. Personally I found the story horribly ended. Game or not coming out this is a s****y way of ending something like this... so much potential, none of it realized.

the resolution was that Man and Machine were given peace with one another. At least for the time being.
All of man were given the option of "waking up" from the matrix if they chose. That's what the machines would do.
All in all, I *LOVED* this movie. Tons of action. it was pretty sweet.
Only gay parts were um... this
Neo & dieing Trin. I hated her speach.
The kid at the end who's taking all the glory for Neo saving everyone.
And WTF is that strange crab thing that Neo was riding on at the end?
PS - The best speach in the movie was the one agent smith gives. When he's in the pit he made by crashing into the ground w/ Neo. Bad ass speach!

90% of the movie kicks major ass!... the last 10 % sucked big time.
The Neo vs Agent smith fight scene was crap .. nowhere near the calibre it should of been / showed on the previews .. it also followed in NO SEQUENCE to what the other fight scenes throughout the series were like ..
ie : Main hero ( be it trin / neo or morph ) .. gets hit hard and fast .. something makes them click ( trin for neo .. neo for trin and neo for morph ) they come back and fight harder and better then ever .. and win.
Standard film fight outlay as you will find in 90% manga / japanese fighting style movies ( interviews with W bros says that is what they wanted to duplicate )
The last fight in general was so pathetic i was getting to the point in waiting for george of the jungle to fly on by and smack himself into a tree saying " watch out for that skyscraper! "
Simple outlay in Matrix movies to date ...
Matrix 1 : ground breaking special effects .. neo is a nobody .. becomes a person who has to realise he is the " One " and fights extremely well... awesome storyline .. hasnt been done in along time .. all round 10 outa 10.
Matrix 2 : same special effects just twisted abit around .. but big mission W bros were trying to portray how " bad ass " Neo is .. it works... again all round 10 outa 10 for fight scenes ( the balcony being my fav )
Matrix 3 : for everthing neo is .. who gives a shit .. we have no fucken idea how we going to end it .. lets kill trin ... lets make peace .. and save our $300 million in our bank for **** / drugs / strippers / and manga Legend of the Overlord reruns.
I gave it a -10 outa 10 .. and basically call it the royal F-up of the Series for completely trying to baffle the viewers with there wannabe b******t " lets make peace and one day a sequel that ppl will come watch ... but lets also kill trinity that neo has saved time and time again .. making everything that has happened in the previous movies a complete and utter waste of time ..
They should of done one thing .. and one thing only .. STOPPED AT FREKEN MATRIX 1 ! 
i could spew and spit all day .. but what will that achieve .. =/

i liked most of the movie, but the ending just p****d me off.... i mean a lot, i expect way more than that. i enjoyed the fight scene but it was too inpsired by dragon ball. but all in all, i was pretty much let down by this one.....

O ya the machines .. so i have been told .. kinda accept neo as in a coma .. and carry em away ( like manga / japanese movies ) to fight another day .. or to just die as a hermit .. no one knows for sure other then hes not dead.
1 real fight scene ( being Martial arts ) .. the whole zyion thing kicked major ass tho .. still stick with the -10 outa 10 .. but only due to the last 10 % of the movie sucking major ass... Neo is built up to basically own Agent smith .. and he gives up at the end .. ummm no .. in any damn story book / matrix mags / anything.

I thought the ending was rather weak sauce. I really wanted resolution for one side or the other. It just felt so unsatisfying.
However, I found the movie entertaining, and it had a great deal more character development and dialogue than similar action flicks.

i didn't like the ending. they seemed to try and fit too much into one film. There should have been a 4th or be a 4th for further explantation of the plot. because the plot is what made this movie pwn along with the stunts =p

The animatrix answers alot too. The crab think when its in the real world matrix code, looks alot like the thing that one s**t is on when she is asking you what info you want to access from the past. I think the way neo beat smith was the best way to end it. Everything else jsut takes way to much explaining. With all the teasers and spoilers out there before the movie came out it made you think way to much, and it was nice to just sit back and have everything todl to you. I dont think i have one question left in my mind with wtf happened.

The oracle's apperance changed because the lady playing her actually died, so they had to write some stuff into the story to cover up why she looked different.
