Ok, where to start...
I liked this movie a whole lot. Action was amazing, the special effects were even more so. But here's my problem.
(not really a Spoiler, but... you might think so. bastards)
Why the f**k did they have a love scene between Trinnity and Neo? was that really needed? And was there really a point to have the "big dance" b******t in Zion(sp?)? I mean seriously, these two parts (which were the same) just didn't "fit" into the flow of the movie, IMHO.
Aside from that, it was great. Some corney lines, some humor (better than that of X-Men 2, but along the same line), and all that. Very good movie.
As for my final gripe. The final 4 1/2 seconds of the movie just sucked. The rest was great. Our movie was scheduled to start at 10:00 exactly, and I left the theater as soon as it was over at 12:28. Not sure how much of that was previews and what have you, but the movie seemed pretty long. Good, but long.
ok, done spewing out random ideas. I'll get more coherent tomorow or something.

I just got back from the 10:40 showing at my local theater I thought the movie was excellent. I need to see it again because this viewing of it I was stoned off my ass. We hung out with Reggie before the movie maybe 5 or 6 fat bowls and 1 joint I believe then we went to Taco Bell/Pizza Hutt and I got a personal pan pizza and then we saw Matrix high off our asses and it was eXcellent.
At the end of Revelations they should have Neo wake up in a hospital after he took the red or the blue pill whatever and be like wow that was a bad trip or have him wake up in a mental institution

Hello All,
I got back an hour or so ago from the 10 o'clock showing myself. Had to BS with folks I went with after the movie. I have to say this movie was amazing and it was worth the wait.
Oh and by the way I belive the "****" were a very much needed part of the movie. To show that we are still humans with very primal needs that the machines can not and could not understand, as well as love another thing that machines can not understand.
The "dancing" well that was another part of the movie that I belive was great for lets face it, alot of old tribes in history used to have these dances before a war was started. Perhaps a showing that even in the future man kind still has the same belives and same driving forces. We do chance but as said in the movies, "some things change, some don't" or something to that extent.
Not everything has to be cut and dry **** and danceing they do have some back ground if you look deeper into it. The part about the kid I am still not sure about but going back to see the movie again so I hope I can patch it in and make some sense of that part as well as to stay till the end to watch the previews of the Matrix 3 that is coming out in November.
EDIT: By the way if you look deeply into some of the parts of the movie they are very deep, not just some BS thrown together. I think the movie was excelt, it was very deep in some aspects of the movie. Watch it again if you don't think so and keep an eye open to the part with the man in the room and all those TV's. Even his name has a certain meaning.

I just got back to from seeing it.
Not sure what to think yet, it was good but very drawn out. It felt like they could have chopped most fight seens in half without missing much.
I see why they filmed the 3rd one at the same time, people would be p****d if they had to wait 4 years for the next one.

Great movie... I have to say though, if your vocabulary is less than stellar, you may understand little of what is said near the end, though you will comprehend the gist (jist?) of it...
Speaking of the end, that whole seen with the architect made me leave the theatre feeling smart, he didnt say one word I didnt know, whereas my friends were baffled.

I just got back and overall I think the movie was definitly worth seeing. I agree about the dance/love scene... didn't really need it. Also, sometimes I thought the music during some of the fight scenes was kinda cheezy. But the special fx were awesome and the story itself was very interesting, for lack of better words. Go see it... it's pretty sweet.
P.S.
Didn't really like the "ending"

Whoa, the second movie didn't fill in any of the gaping plot holes created by the first one!
Good action, terribly written.
I still think it would have been a far better idea for them to have hired a more attractive female to play the role of trinity in both the movies =\

I enjoyed it totally.(minus the dancing shit), but I figured it'd have to have one scene everyone could crap on.
As for the ending, I like how they did that, only because the next one is in 6 months, so it's forgivable.
Loved Smith in this one. He was pretty spiffy.
As for the snobby, elitist a******s who are "movie critics" for papers, etc, can suck donkey balls for ripping on it, they must have been blown away with all the big words during the you know what scene. f*****s, they can burn in hell. The movie was very entertaining, and that's all that matters. Anal p****s that they are.

Matrix Reloaded was pretty lame a lot of times.
The fight scenes bored me, they are all so contrived. Who hasn't seen this exact thing like 10,000 times before. Once one movie does the fancy CGI ninja thing, you have pretty much seen it all.
The "rave" in Zion was retarded.
The "love" scene was retarded.
The entire Agent Smith big battle thing after Neo saw the Oracle reminded me of West Side Story...
All in all, I slept through a lot of it. So boring.

I liked it, some of the most fun action/battles scenes ever. Nothing really, but just damn fun. Overall great movie, true entertainment.
A few things dragged on, but good pacing I thought. The plot is decent, bit confusing, will need to watch it again to get it all.
Overall, if you enjoyed first one, you'll probably enjoy this one, if you didn't you won't like this any better, it's just more of the same.

The love scene is disgusting. If anything it's because it looks like Keanu Reeves is having **** with himself.
I swear Trinity is Fugly with a capital 'F'....

There's a movie just out on video called Equilibrium that has effects similar to the Matrix but with guns. It's a pretty cool movie with an interesting storyline. Don't expect an academy award winning movie because it did go straight to video as far as I know, but I was pleasantly surprised by it.
And I really liked the Matrix Reloaded .

Is Equilibrium the movie that was rumored to be surpressed by the Bush administration because they thought it would bias people against the war in Iraq? Or was that some other movie?

According to Eduin it is. It took me forever to actually find a copy because it was so suppressed. I actually had to search for "Equilibrium" in netflix before it showed up. Damn those crafty Bushies!
