She'll absolutely get jail time. I think it will be a stiff sentence, to set an example and scare people, but not the max so she won't become a martyr or object of sympathy.

I dont think anyone should have to do prison time for insider trading. Definetly some type of punishment, but prison time seems a bit harsh.

Technically, she wasn't convicted of insider trading, but conspiracy, obstructing justice and making false statements. Those are all privileges the government pretty much reserves to itself, and they get jealous when anyone else does it.

I agree with sinrakin, there's already gonna be some publicity on this and they're not gonna throw gasoline on the flame. However im sure it would make big corporate people think twice before repeating the same mistake.

She needs to do jail time, simply because of the publicity this case has garnered and because of her social standing.
The book needs to be thrown at her, I wouldn't be lenient in the slightest bit.
