Hi all! I've just created a character and my boyfriend has got one for about two weeks. What I wanted to ask is whether there is a marriage system in this game? I'd like us to get married ( he's human, I'm an elf btw). I asked my boyfriend and he said that marriage in LOTRO is forbidden. Is this true?

Marriage system just doesn't exist in this game yet. The closest you can get is to take the same surname which you can do at level 15. Many people have already complained about marriage system not being implemented but devs say there are a lot of reasons why it wasn't their priority. One of the problems is the possibility of interracial marriage which is important for you. So even if they make some kind of marriage system, you probably won't be able to get married.
