BM has become somewhat of a decent 2v2 and 3v3 spec since aim shot has a ms debuff
i played BM with a ele shammy to 2k aswell as with a rogue
or you can drain you way to 2k with a druid or a priest
5v5 are usually MM tho

I agree with the above poster. MM is more towards 5s due to the mana drain abilities that you have. It comes handy when you are grouped with other mana drainers such as warlocks and priests. Wear your enemy down and you will win. However, you have to be very careful with high DPS teams. There is 1 team out there made up of 5 dps classes that have semi healing abilities that seems to destroy the draining teams.

i think beast mastery is best for 3v3 and good in 2v2, but MM is viable in 2v2 and 5v5

I prefer beast mastery for lvling up and farming. Marksmanship is great for pvp and arenas. Along with survival for pvp.

Marks for 2v2 arena with a healer, BM for burst team, MM or BM for PvE, usually there is only one BM hunter per raid though. Both Surv and BM hunters significantly boost damage in raids.

Well i know that the data is gone but ill tell you what you need to know. BM is the best thing for questing but can be used in instances but mark would be better for freezing traps because of silent shot.

Go BM to level to 70 since it offers a good tank to help you out. If you want to raid you can keep BM but prob go MM. in pvp mm or survival is the way to go

Beast Mastery using a 1:2 rotation. (Auto > Steady Shot > Special, Auto > Steady Shot > Auto) etc.

I've played both specs and BM won in the end.
Great for pve and pvp.
