Girls' Lie Leads to Detention

The lie kept Eric Nordmark in jail for eight months.
Yesterday, the Orange County girls all admitted to conspiracy. One also admitted committing perjury. Two received 45 days of detention, with the third receiving a month. They were already in custody and received 25 days' credit for time served.
Each girl must perform 60 hours of community service, pay unspecified restitution and remain on probation until age 21.
Nordmark was arrested last May and charged with attacking the girls in a suburban park. His trial ended abruptly in January after one girl admitted the three friends concocted the story as a cover for coming home late from school.

Ok, this right here is just f****d up on so many levels. These girls should all be sentanced to an equal crime. What they did is f*****g pathetic and unacceptable. f**k this "detention" b******t. Hell, the man should be able to sue the girls & the parents for what ever the f**k he wants to. This is a sad state of events.

A grand-daddy here **** abused his 18 months old little daughter...also he abused of her for 4 years.
18 months MAX in jail.
It simply mean that soon we will have to make our own justice.
18 months....simply...no word for that.
I would love to see a guy raping my daughter get only 18 months...I would kill him, open his troat, cut him in half shot his guts, burn him and then claim loud on the TV to the gouvernment to kiss my ass.

did you even read the source article? it was nothing about rape at all. It was 3 girls claiming a homeless guy beat them up because they were afraid they would get in trouble coming home late from school.
Yes, they sent him to jail for 8 months (till they confessed) because they were AFRAID OF BEING LATE...

The guy is letting the girls off pretty lightly - he just said basically "they're kids; they should be punished by their parents and that's it". He's a lot harsher on the police who he claimed never checked out his story. Although I suppose it's possible he plans to sue and thinks they have deeper pockets. May also explain why the police are so adament about prosecuting the girls and possibly their parents.

That's not school detention, that's detention at a juvenille facility. They call it detention when you're a minor.
