all i hear is that Shadowbane sucks by a ton of people, and that is good by a few. the idea for the game kicks ass in my opinion, i hope by the release they work it all out and it is a good game. It has always seemed like the idea and pvp has potential to be a lot better than eq. Guess we'll just have to wait and see...maybe i won't get it on the first day.

its already better than AO =/ classes are pretty balanced, guild and city systems workin pretty well, PvE is pretty good with new monster AI... lag and crashs are the bane of shadowbane atm, that and server /client synching ;p.. but anyone who knows about that stuff will tell you final server tweaking goes fast.

oh ya and without lag is like ten times better than EQ =/ you dont know fun until you go on a newb ninga looting spree ;p

yea and they seriously need to work pathing..Nothing like sitting down then your character jumps up and runs off without you doing anything or getting hit.It is worse than EQ's pathing
The "bring a friend "code that they put in sucks ass.The radius is to huge.I think the mobs AI needs to be tweeked more myself tho.
Dont get me wrong I like the concept and I am sure it will be a good game when everything is ironed out,but it is gonna be sometime.

Pathing is atrocious and nowhere near the "bad" pathing of EQ.
Camera view sucks ass.
Monster AI is nonexistant.
BAF code makes it damn near impossible for a decent exp group to "break" a camp and once broke the spawns are too slow to allow the amount of people needed to break it any exp.
Pathing sucks.
Pathing sucks.
Did I mention pathing sucks?
Some classes WAY WAY overpowered--balance not my biggest concern though cause that is just minor tweaking.
The game has potential but it is not anywhere near ready for release and definately will be a mistake to release it next month.
Oh and my biggest complaint is that the PATHING SUCKS.

You just need to know how to work around it.Not that hard to break most camps.They do need to tone down the radius of the BAF code tho,way to big.
I will agree pathing sucks the big one tho.Add more people if you want more exp.The bigger the group better the exp or so they say.

once you get higher lvls your much better off with BAF, as a chaneller i can hold tons of shit on me while people kill it in huge pulls, like 200 - 300k exp a pull

I really dont think (my opinion) that casters should get to fly.Should be left to the bird men.Give them a class defineing ability,like centaurs innate run speed.
