Being primarily a pve game, I know that EQ2 might not be the best selection for pvp play.However, I really want to make a good PvP character, preferably tank oriented class. Will you please help me in guides because I didn’t find anything useful which would help me build this guy.

As you have noticed, EQ2 has only recently added a pvp possibility and I still think it is not a good idea to force PvP option in this game. You’d better wanna play WoW, or maybe the best pvp game out there – Lineage 2. EQ2 should be played in PvE only, it is not good enough for a descent PvP.
