Can't see it having very much power behind it to do anything useful. Guess it might be ok for office type things.
I'd disagree it would that breakable though. Seems similiar to an iPod Nano, which is pretty tough.

true not much power behind it, but its the fact that its super slim and its got great wifi speed, im guessing its for the traveling businessman

It looks pretty neat, and quite practical. Laptops are getting bigger and bigger and its annoying.

I am a PC/Mac Certified tech.
I do warranty work for Apple.
My advice?
This thing is junk
It's a joke.
First off, it has no optical drive, you have to buy an external CD/DVD burner.
They come standard with a 4200RPM 80G Ipod hard drive.
If you want the 68G solid state hard drive you will be paying $999 more.
A very very poor marketing idea on Apples part imo.
I don't like apple to begin with, their hardware sucks and they are waaaaay too expensive for what you get and too hard to work on and not upgradable.
This laptop from anystandpoint though is not practical at all.

overpriced, not that portable (since when has thickness mattered to a laptop?). Pathetic USB and networking, No CD.
there are much better ultraportables around

Well it's great if you want show others what hardware you have, but for normal work it's IMO not worth this cash.

I've seen a commercial for that. It's insane how small it is. I find it dumb how they make the Laptops smaller each time a new one comes out, and charge a lot for it. People can never keep up with technology

I demo'd it in the Istore and its pretty kool. Its thin and functional. However, for games its better to get a more powerful laptop.
