How do you gain control of a region. I beat the snot out of the occupant of a castle, I'm alone in the region but I can't create my own castle or fiefdom, etc. It keeps saying I do not have the rights to occupy (said region).
Do I have to beat the main castle of a group of regions to gain ALL the regions?
Also, how do you create more armies?

The game is not that bad, but its not exactly intuitive. It's also not good enough to keep my attention long enough and has since then met the uninstall button!
