I haven't been playing for quite some time now, left about the time when the NGE hit. The usual reasons, you know. The thing is, I'm sort of tempted to give it another shot, but I don't know if it's worth the time and effort (not to mention the money). Anyone with recent first-hand experience got any positives?

Well, I've been tuning in on and off for the past year or so, even though I count myself among the "angry veterans". The game is salvageable, or at least it might be. They're redoing it every now and then, covering up for their own mistakes, trying to make it look a little more like it originally did. The player populations is a larger issue, but if I were you, I'd give it a try.

Definitely give it another try. The new collection system in the game is really cool I must say. Also, the instances they have now will leave you with hours of fun.

I am like the other posters and will say give it a try. I feel that the current Dev team is trying their best to resurrect SWG.

the game isnt nearly as bad as the rap it gets anymore, but the problem is that the servers just dont have the population to make the game fun. Primetime hours on corbantis seems to have only 100-200 people and non peak hours is just a struggle to find anyone to interact with
