Looking forward to play Final Fantasy XI on the 360

I've only briefly tried Final Fantasy XI on the PC, and never really got interested, mainly because the game did not appeal to me visually. Yeah, I'm shallow like that, so sue me. Now I hear it's out on the 360 too, must've missed the memo. Is it any good? If they buffed it up visually for the 360, I'd probably try it again. Is it an OK conversion?

Well, yes and no. It came out in the Xbox version back in April this year IIRC, and was received well enough. One thing working for it was the fact that they bundled all three expansions that were out at the time, which is nice. Of course, it faces the standard PC-console porting difficulties, namely it has communication issues if you don't have a keyboard. But then again, who doesn't these days, especially among the RPG players.
