I currently have the Runed Coldain Prayer Shawl on 3 of my character (4 actually, but one of them was already used to summon the Dain). These can be used to spawn the Dain 3 times as long as Chamberlain Krystorf is up. If the Dain is already up when we do this, there is a possibility of 4 kills in one session.
What I am looking for is a guild or a couple strong groups to kill the Dain and give me his head from one of the kills, plus 1 cloak and 1 hammer. I am willing to pass on the hammer if someone feels strongly about it, but it really isn't much more than a twink item or a soloing toy for pure melee. The people doing the killing get the other 2 (or 3 if he is already up) Dain heads and all the other loot.
If you are interested, respond here or send me a tell in-game to set up a time. I am busy tomorrow (Friday) and early Saturday, but should be available Saturday evening, Sunday, or most of time between Christmas and New Year's Day.

It's not a matter of who is capable of killing Dain. Any random 2 groups of lvl 65 players can do it. It is just a question of who is willing to give away several pieces of quality loot to a freeloader.

Not really a freeloader if he can spawn three dains for you and give you 2 heads and is only asking for one head, hammer, and cloak?

Dain belts are still most likely better belts than most people who aren't doing VT/Elementals are wearing even at this point.

I meant the actual spawning of Dain. Unless things have changed, back when I still played anybody and everybody was capable of spawning Dain.

ah i see.
That quest sucks regardless, most people who farmed the dain back then are long gone.. I dunno if anyone even kills him regularlly anymore.

send me a tell any time. i am on every day usually 2pm - 5am as torval. i can brink me (1947ac 9804hp pal), a 65 sk, and a 65 shmn. funny yall should mention warping him too. that's the only way i had ever seen him pulled til about 3 weeks ago. new willis pulled him and his guards down well and i aggroed em all when checking to see if well was clear. i got a good laugh out of it, but i think willis blew a couple circuits.
i remember teh yanbik / zekel pulling team on our joint mokb / numi raids. that's where i got my belt i still wear years later lol.

Anybody can spawn the Dain at a particular point in the shawl quest. The big differrence in my offer is the opportunity to kill him repeatedly in a single session.
Even for the most organized group, gathering, buffing, getting into position, etc take a significant portion of the time for a kill like the Dain. Killing him multiple times in one session is more efficient and requesting approximately 1/3 of the extra loot does not seem that unreasonable. If I am mistaken about this, just ignore me.
As others have noted, the belt (Dain head) is the important item. I am willing to negotiate on the cloak or hammer, but would like at least one of them.
