Has anyone seen Epillon (my old 65 paladin) online at all? Haven't been following the EQ scene for quite some time, but I've heard that he's trying to resell the account but I lost all of his contact informtion. If he truly is trying to resell the account then I'd most likely buy it back so if anyone knows his whereabouts or whatever, your input would be appreciated.

I would like to get my account back becuse I miss alot of my friends I made through EQ and now that my financial situation is settled I can actually afford to play again.
So if anyone with USEFUL information and not some pompous remark about money could reply, I'd appreciate it.
P.S. Hey Atlet! I doubt I'll ever play like I used to but I can't stand to level another toon or buy someone else's account. Miss you guys!

I don't know you, but I have seen several posts such as, "Has anyone seen such and such around anymore.", and if the answer is no they just take the account back. Okami, LETTHEMWEAKENIT does not refer to a zerg, it refers to Numibaars and events such as Sontalak, and CT. I am sure there are some good guys in Numi, but they are just few and far between.

Yes, I always attended raids where we KS'd boss mobs, yes I always went to peoples camps and train then KS their triggered mobs (thx angry goblin), and yes I am so very bitter...

Let them weaken it actually refers to CoS and i forget to who else racing to a mob, and when the other guild got there first Mack said "Let them weaken it", so when they wiped CoS could jump in and take the mob.
Has nothing to do with zerg, or any type of tactics, it was just a dumb thing Mack said, similar to Tick Tock.

It was not an isolated event, and I never said anything about a zerg. Numibaar perfected the tactic.

I happened to be at the CT and Sont event that you refer to. Hell, I think I mt'd both mobs.
Let's start with the most potentially shady of the 2 as far as Numinous goes.
Sont.
Mokb was actually there at this one. (They weren't at CT)
We raced with BC for Sont, this was back when bc/ed and numi/mokb were the only ones to kill him. Actually Ed hadnt killed him in a good 2-3 months, sleeper was already awake at this point etc.
Guilds formed up at zone in of ToV/ Neither side had a clear advantage or was there first. Think bc had roughly 50, we had 60ish. The lag was INSANE. We were all packed in tight.
BC did indeed pull first. They did announce the pull 30 seconds before inc.
We all packed into the corner as close as we could, members were instructed NOT to engage.
BC wiped. They did damned well tho considering the lag. Think Sont was 40ish.
Now since BC didnt move up at all to engage but pulled sont to the tov zoneline, once they wiped , he of course, agro'd on us. We let a full on 10 people die once he agro'd before engaging. Yes, rather than wipe, or zone, we killed him. Go figgure. Had we zoned , by the time we coh'd to zone out and reformed yer asses would have cr'd and been in position to at least lag us out (This was all pre /serverfilter. Anyone that raided or walked into 100+ people before the filter knows what lagging a raid out is as far as a tactic. Hell we did delay our pull hoping you would be dumb nuff to pull first) Bitter about that? Well f**k man. All you had to do was move half way to his spawn point to pull. He'd not have agro'd on us and woulda been full health before we engaged. You f****d up. Don't be mad at someone else for it.
I think a mage got the ST key we needed it so badly.
On to CT! This one really made me laugh. I almost poped wood it was so damned ironic.
Numinous was alone this time. No mokb, dont bash them for this.
Again this was an early kill of the mob, only ED , BC, Numinous and MOKB had killed CT at this point. I actually dont think Numinous had done it alone yet.
Numinous zoned into fear full spawn, CT up. We broke it, we cleared it all. CT and 3-4 mobs were left when BC zoned in. Meself sent a tell to Cit askin wtf. Cit offered to random for the mob, if we were not willing they would just take it. Meself, of course, refused.
We pulled CT.
The BC monks snaged the mob off our pullers and ran it to BC's camp.
BC wiped with CT at about 20% life.
He came looking for our pullers. Not to mention that BC was within spitting distance of our camp.
We killed him.
Now neither of these events, nor ALOT of other ones were ever read about on Abiworld, the old TM boards or on RP.
Why? We just do our thing, f the drama.
Clev yer sittin here b*****n cause yer previous guild tried to f**k someone over and lost?
Stfu man. Seriously.
It's all in the game far as I'm concerned. Had no hate for bc trying it. This is the shit ya deal with sometimes.

To my memory, the Sont thing happened as Bort said except that the key went to me. (I was in MoKB at the time)
I can't believe a former BC (original BC) member is p*****g about game tactics that might not fall into the "play nice" category. You gotta be kiddin!
*tosses down a thick book of big and little BC Ganks* I remember clearing to one of the nameds due to spawn in Sleepers and having BC run in on our heels and claim it by sitting their guild on the spawn point to wait. Someone ended up petitioning. GM gave it to BC,...after we'd done all the work to clear.
why I dont know, but we moved on to the next named. It was such a lame tactic, it was a jaw dropper. Other ancient history stories involving Severilious, Trakanon.. same kinda stuff.
It gets us cranky at the time, but then we forgetaboutit and move on to the big OH WELL.
so to reiterate pot...kettle...
As LETTHEMWEAKINIT history has been rewritten here, (it was CoS and DOA) I guess it's not surprising any other history Clev has to write about is creatively reconstructed as well.
None of it really matters, but I felt like typing this morning.

I too was at both events.
The sont thing happened fairly closely to as you described it.
The CT description was laughable.
First off we were not the only guilds capable of killing CT. It was to the point where he was becoming another Vindicator. Pretty much any respectable guild on the server could kill him. Another guild had cleared most of the zone for the armor. We zone up about the same times as Numi. We set up at the traditional CT pull spot. I think Numi had like 20 or so at this time and they set up just north of us, in the path of where we pull CT.
I think Fej or Rz was pulling him, but because you guys set up there it because a clusterfuck. We would pull, one of your guildmates would aggro, and he would run off. Eventually we had half the guild out looking for him. I remember either Aireth or Millenia eventually tagged him and pulled him to camp, but it came from the back side killing a good portion of the guild on the way. This is the only reason why we wiped. I think vermier tanked it, fairly well, and we did not have a CH rotation or DMF the entire fight. We die, around 15-20 percent, he aggros on one of your people (maybe because you were standing right next to us...?), yall kill.
I don't really care about the playnice deal, but I just find it funny that whole series of events. I can remember the ST event you are talking about as well. You seem to be letting out some details, if we are talking about the same event. I am refering to the MotG, when we cleared the few mobs up to him, then you all run in and gank him. Think you got a 1hb or 2hb so I didnt really care, but this was typical of your guild.
I wasn't in BC in the Kunark era, so I can't really comment on them there although I do know they pulled some shady stuff back then.
And although LETTHEMWEAKENIT did originally belong to DOA/COS, numibarr reinvented the trend. It was either Sirrk, Citaria, or Spiritz that made several front page posts on the matter but I forget now, wish one of them would read this and validate what I am saying.

Hmmm nope, not the one I was thinking of though I'll bet there were lots of chances for encounters good and bad for us to be thinking of.
Since back in those days, ST was just a big PIA to manage with 2-3 guilds hot on the named spawns and all trying to get the same things around the same period of time.
A LDoN type set up would have been a pretty nice way to manage Sleepers zone.
