whenever i go to try and send a recieve aim images it says cannot send because you or the person you are sending to is behind a firewall (the built in firewall router) is there a way to turn it down a notch so that i can send aim images

AOL INSTANT MESSENGER - Messenger service like Yahoo, ICQ. Many students have accounts on it.
Ports:
OUT TCP 4099
IN TCP 5190
you'll need to foward those two ports to your IP in the linksys router.
advanced tab -- fowarding tab
if you need more help, PM me and i'll make detailed instruction for ya. i'm in bed right now so my photochopping abilities are minimal =)
this was found on the first page of google search results. http://www.bluegrass.net/techsupport/portlistofapplications.htm
