So we simultaeneously launched 2 mmo titles yesterday.
for the party we had dom perignon and johnny walker blue, for an expense of $2000 just for the alcoholic.
The lower level GMs went nuts.
Most of the upper guys in the office had a little to drink and went right back to work, except for the web content editor who was trying like hell to mack on this one cute chick gm. may he's lazy, southern ass burn in hell.

just out of curiousity, why would they do two big launches the same day? Seems like L2 went smooth enough except for the uncertainty beforehand about whether or not you could buy the key online (you can, yay), but wasn't that just begging for trouble?

CoH has been the smoothest game launch I have ever seen. Outside of the clogged login (which was not to bad from what I hear) it was as smooth as the satin sheets on Nah's bed.
Big Props to NCSoft and Cryptic for that one.

Retail stores were up in arms about not doing this at all. So after we announced it they came at us with guns and knives but since it was already planned, we just had to shut up and not talk about it any more.
