Greetings. I have some questions regarding Lineage II PvP battles. How does this feature affects my character later in the game? If I kill or defeat more than 10 other players, what is growing regarding my skills, HP points, etc? Can I obtain some more advanced item or weapon by acting on open PvP? Thanks in advance.

Hello. Have you tried already, or you just plan to win or lose the first match? You have noticed those players colors in the game, there are red, purple and white. I have noticed only Karma difference when PvP occurs. Purple is telling us that the player is in the battle. Red tells us that the player was in the battle a little while ago. White means that the player is fresh – available for PvP combat. If you are Red, and you kill the “white boy”, you will gain 240 karma points. I think that should be your goal. You as red, the opponent as white. Regarding items and weapons as a “gift” after battle I never heard or saw anything alike.

If you kill a person with a white name, you gain karma and a PK point. As long as you have karma your name is red, and given that you have over 5 PKs, you can drop items upon death.
If you kill a purple person, you gain a PvP point and no karma.
If you kill a red person, you gain no PvP points, nor karma; but the red person has a chance of dropping items.
