Lineage 2 is growing

Is lineage 2 a growing community? Despite its out for four years now, this community gets more popular every day. Is its simplicity a reason for such a behavior? What is the reason for success, really? Does anyone know how this is possible? Especially when there are a lot better games, like Guildwars which is btw free of subscription?

Guys from L2 dev team have introduced a couple of very useful features since c5, beginning with interlude, which is one part of their success. The other one is the fact that there is no other mmo with such a good pvp tofay. Well I wouldnt really compare L2 to GW, even though the other one is free.

I wonder which is the useful feature in L2 since C5. I think the worst REPLACE was Interlude and i can explain it with the fact that they nerfed destroyers so much that 1 party could do raid or Baium the C3 epic raid could be down in like 10 mins with 2 parties or ppl got plvled in FoG with 2 destroyers and some healers. Well, I suppose that was the big mistake of L2 that threw away some ppl couldn't getting along with others because they chosed other classes than the "useful" ones.

seriously. l2 is dead on 1/2 of the servers. at least it was a year ago when i quit. pvp is good, but i wouldn't claim it any better than wow if ppl would fight outside arena and bg's. which they don't. play it for s***s and giggles and decide for yourself

I was playing a lvl 75 Spellhowler on Devianne but quit due to inactivity...

If your not 80 and/or noble or hero, you can get easily 1 shotted by those damn archer ....

Altough I admit that L2 was and is still the best PvP system to date imo.

I realised that L2 is a rather shelfish game than WoW or at least in WoW u do things together with other ppl cause u can't do em alone.

In L2 u have special Raid Bosses but only the powerfull clans do em and it's on every leader's decision if he will give u some unique items or not(depends on what u provide for the clan)

Most ppl try to equip better themselves for being better in pvp trying to get high lvl buffers for pvp, try to reach the highest lvl for pvp.

As a matter of fact L2 started as a pvp game not like WoW for doing quests and staff. The main part of the game is PVP not to get along with ppl and make parties and do things together.
