Hi there! I was wondering if there exists a f2p option in Lineage2. I now that you need to pay to play, but one of my friends claims it can be also played for free? I didnt find any info about this at the lineage 2 official site. Did I miss something?

Lineage 2 is an exclusively p2p game, when it comes to playing on normal servers. However, there is an option (like in almost every other mmorpg) to connect to so-called private servers. Nevertheless, these private servers often lack some advanced options and suffer from lags and small number of people connected at the same time.
