Lineage 2 West and east coast servers?

I want to try playing Lineage 2 and I will be opening an account in the next few days but I don’t know which server I should choose. I’ve heard that the servers are divided in two groups: the east coast and the west coast servers. I’m from Europe and I don’t know which one would be better for me. Thank you for your help!

There are European servers too and you’ll be able to choose the server when you start the game. You should probably choose the one that’s nearest to you but it would probably be good to read a bit about the servers before you start playing. The official message board has the section for each server and from the topics there you can see what kind of players are on which server.
