Lineage 2 Does Not Support Microsoft Vista

Is this true? I am a hardcore Lineage 2 player. Similarly, I had a hardcore failure at my pc, so I need to buy a new one. I was looking for some laptops, theyre all Vista. Thats not the problem itself, I understand it is very easy for XP users to switch to it, but. I have heard that L2 wont run on Vista! I couldnt stand THAT!
Basically, Lineage 2 will crash if you run it under Vista, but you neednt worry for that! There are a patches for some vital files that make Lineage 2 running on Vista possible! Just search for a c4 core.dll and c5 core.dll files and download them. Apply them, and voila, thats all!
Errr... I have Windows Vista X64 Ultimate and it works very well,
Core 2 Duo E4300 @ 3.06Ghz
2Gb OCZ ddr2 800
8800 GT 512mb G92
etc..
I never had a single problem with Vista yet. maybe the improved firewall in it block gameguard and stuff, but never happened to me.
ps : I also try to make some post to be able to do a WTB trage...I hope you dont mind ....
