So, um, maybe this is a stupid question, but – what exactly is the difference? Is it just that this new Chronicle is called "Interlude", or is it that this one is an actual interlude between the real chronicles, or what? If someone could clear this up for me, I'd be grateful.

Interlude is the first (0th?) installment in the second saga, the Chaotic Throne. It's effectively an "interlude" between the first saga and this one.
