Do you believe life is like a choose your own adventure book, a blank piece of paper, or a play?
By choose your own adventure I mean, there are pivotal moments in life where you make choices, but there is a finite number of outcomes for your life.
By black piece of paper, I mean of course, you make all your decisions, and can end up with an infinite number of "endings"
By a play I mean everything is written out for you, your just reading your lines.

I believe that life has no purpose. You do things and things happen. You don't have to make something of your life, because in the end it absolutely doesn't matter.
The only reasons why people try to achieve lofty goals are:
1. To satisfy their parents' need for their child to "amount to something"
2. To try to show someoneanyone that they can "live their dreams"
3. To possess things ala EQ
Why bother?

Technically everything is already decided.. its not really predestination but unless you believe in souls and shit the chemicals in our brains with the help of stimulus totally and completely govern our lives.. predestination implys some religious belief that god like made a path for you.. of course this falls apart if you believe in truely random decision making... if thats the case then its blank paper.. but who knows.. time travel is an interesting concept dealing with this.. but traveling into the future is only possible by aging more slowly (near light speeds)
