So how much longer can I expect to enjoy a single group of 60+ ubers camping the entire dead side of lower guk? Can anyone clue me in on the VI brainchild's idea that's behind this new dimension of looking for camps in lguk?

I am sure it is faction, but I suspect it has something to do with one of the planes. Ghoulbane's been around quite a while; but this camping the whole dead side appears to be a new phenomena.

Everyone is in an uproar... even the faction campers don't want to be there. Look for a change soon, I'm sure VI realizes they've just ruined one of their zones.

haha give me a f****n break, I spent like a year of my life in Lower Guk and it was overrun by people... 70 people in plane of valor seems like a lot, well 80 in lower guk was just as bad, with such camp spots as bedroom, then spiders, then icebones, then the ledge, then ass, then savant, then sage, exe, cav, safe hall, zol platform, AM, Lord, Hand, Lord hallway, Frenzy, sentinel, and then the few rooms in between frenzy and the jail, all camped.
Live side would see the eye, fort, noble, water elemental, king, herbalist, all camped. Sometimes 2 groups would fight over the fort. It was uber. Oh and then there were always the L50 wizards that would patrol the corridors.. waiting for a named to spawn so they could get free lewtz >_<

70 in LG??? try 110+
Its very stupid of VI to request some high lvl to go kill for faction in a newbie zone.
Hunting outdoors is crap now and the exp SUCK and when you start a bew character you can only hit indoors now...so hell if groups of 60s get there and blast everything...

It produces a helmet with wood elf illusion, which imo means f**k all since project illusion came into the game.
At least factioning in droga produced a worthwhile reward.

there is an ogre (guildmaster I thknk?) that raises the faction much quicker. Just keep killing him instead.
I want the crown myself just for the illusion, but I don't want to fight over the right to just tag a mob for faction in lguk.

I'm the kind of person that would run down there to do solo faction and get killed by a green frog being healed from behind a wall.
Happened quite a few times when the Chardok quests first started. I would be all alone in Droga (or Kunark for that matter) at 3:00 in the morning and get one too many goblins and have to beg for level 49 rezzes from paladins that were two expansions away.
Rogue life can be tough!
