Learn crafting in Everquest 2?

First of all, crafting is a position and it depends on you if you are willing to undertake the job of learning it. You cant begin with crafting at the beginning, it is usually offered when you are 10 or 20 levels up in the game. But maybe something changed since the last time I was there. My advice is to be a woodworker. As woodworker you will be able to make different products, but they all have something in common. Products that are made by woodworker are musical instruments, throwing weapons, wooden shields, bows, arrows, staves and totems. You dont have to be woodworker, you can also be carpenter or provisioner.

Learn crafting in Everquest 2? How easy is it? What do I need to know about crafting? Is that a special class or race or does it apply to some special characters or can I hope to be good at it? Can I start training for crafting from the beginning of the game or do I need to fulfill some special conditions for it?
