So what praytell would you see fit to call her? The girl was born mentally a female, yet she went pee standing up. Now people seem to be classifying gender based solely on genitalia, but like many other things what is on the inside is what should count. She sees herself as a girl, and I don't get why people cannot overcome one simple penis to call lauren or dignify her with the term she.
Now seeing as how you will try and have some witty response to the whole thing and bring back the fact that she has no ovaries etc etc. How about you just tell me why you think that everyone should be classified as male or female based solely on penis or vagina.

If I think that I'm a spider, it doesn't make me one. It doesn't matter if I'm totally into believing it. If I get additional arms mounted on my body and somehow get a spinneret attached to my cornhole. Even then I wouldn't be a spider. I agree we should judge Lauren by what's in the inside: Pure human waste with a large helping of misery.
Mental beliefs don't change physical realities, period. The physical world follows rules which cannt be broken based on belief. Don't believe what you heard in preschool.

How about because that's how science classifies things? How can I tell if my dog is male or female? Or a horse? Or a frog? Or a turtle? Or any other animal that has two distinct ****?

A eunuch, for instance, is still a male. Even with his testicles removed, a male is still a male. You're drawing an arbitrary line with people and saying that somehow we can change things for people that cannot be changed anywhere else in nature. No, we can't. If Lauren wants to go through this operation and live his life out as a woman, fine. Medical science gives him that option. It does not make him a woman, however. No amount of psychological justification is going to change the immutable physical fact that Lauren still has, and will always have, the chromosomes of a male.
