I've never understood why television censors language. When bad words are filtered with the ever infamous "beep", it does nothing but brings attention to the word. By what age are you not aware of the missing word when someone is saying "What the BEEP!"?
I assume that it just makes parents feel more secure knowing that their children won't come to the dinner table and say "Hey mom, I like how you undercook the f*****g ham, you b***h", but I mean, come on, you know that every and any six year old male knows all of the cuss words.
The only valid arguement is that if they don't hear it as much, that they won't use it as much. b******t, log online, enough said. Six year olds are not only reading f**k after shit after b***h online, but they're downloading pr0n.
It's always something that's bugged me, and something that needs to go. Censoring bad words is a big pet-peve of mine, and I feel like venting because I can.
