The LSU Tigers got off to a disastrous start before rolling past the Ohio State Buckeyes in the BCS National Championship game, 38-24, in the New Orleans Superdome.
LSU found itself down 10-0 early after giving up a 65-yard touchdown run to Chris "Beanie" Wells. However, the Tigers went on to score 31 unanswered points and take a commanding lead heading late into the third quarter.
Ohio State was able to cut the lead down to 31-17 and had some opportunities to make it even closer, but the LSU defense stood its ground.
The Tigers became the first two-loss team to ever win a national championship, but they did so in convincing fashion that left little doubt who the best team really was.

Florida gave LSU a run for there money but yeah LSU is top dog and deserves to be so. If they could only bring Tim Tebow over to play QB with that awsome defense LSU has.
