I played LOTRO as soon as it came out, it was really fun and i enjoyed eveything i did... but for some reason i just got terribly bored towards the end. I havnt played in a few months now and i was wondering if anything had changed ?

I played a Hunter to level 50 and did a few of the end raids

Not really. PvP is more fun, as a lot of players joined in to get new armor sets. Rads are the same. Turbine added minor character customisation, but that's almost nothing.

Book 13 is coming out in a month or so. Add's alot more content and i have to say as a WoW veteran i am very impressed by the content updates by Turbine. It's still in its first year of release and got over 300,000 accounts, it is more PvE based than PvP, but we all remember WoW on release, no battlegrounds and PvP was world PvP which was usually restricted to a few zones. It is a very good game nonetheless and with an expansion on its way, this game will be growing and growing.

I have the same problem really.
I was all into the game and moving along, leveling my guy. For the record, I didn't speed level either, my character was originally created almost a year ago and just hit 50 last month.

But almost immediately after he hit 50, I found myself looking at other games. I ended up back in WoW.

I did try PVP in LOTRO and while it was insanely fun for awhile, it started to feel kind of like a pointless version of "musical chairs". We'd just move from one tower to the next over and over for hours a night.

Book 13 interests me, the expansion interests me.
But mostly, this game is enjoyable with friends or people you can play with regularly. I found that once my friend quit, I had no desire to even log back into the game.
