Hi. I need to ask one question about LOTRO. My friend gave me Buddy key, so I can trial how the world of LOTRO is working. I know that is not illegal, because it is meant to be given away. I have tried the LOTRO, so I want to upgrade my LOTRO. However, I cannot. It says that my upgrading key is not valid. Can someone help me?

Those Buddy keys are for other people to evaluate LOTRO game, before they buy it. Once the trial period has ended, the key is not valid anymore. Because of that fact, you cannot upgrade the game. You must buy the license if you want to continue playing the game. If you really like the game, it is worth paying for the game. You can spend many glorious hours and have many honorable victories playing the game.
