So, finally ...a new episode next week. First, they will show the episode that sums up what happened to 48 tailies...then they will show a new episode.
Some spoilers on the ABC boards, taken from other sites:
They'll be introducing a 16 year old female character at some point this season.
We will SEE THE MONSTER (yay?) in the episode next week!
Mr. Eko wants to know all about the Virgin Mary statue and where that Beechcraft is. He does have something to do with that plane.
Claire finds out about Charlie's...habit.
Sawyer encourages Hurley to go after Libby (wow LOL)
Few others out there but I don't have them handy atm.

I stopped watching it.  Moved and missed a few weeks cause DirectTV kept f*****g up, and took them 3 weeks to wire up my new house. I am just glad I have my TiVo just in time for the new Sci-Fi Friday today!! Woot woot!

Dark Horizons, citing E! Online's Watch With Kristin column, reported a rumor that Jolene Blalock of Star Trek: Enterprise will guest-star in an upcoming episode of ABC's hit Lost.
Blalock was supposed to guest in the second episode of the current season, which was originally Sawyer's (Josh Holloway) backstory. But the episode was swapped for a Michael (Harold Perrineau Jr.) flashback.
Blalock will appear as a woman from Sawyer's past. The monster is also coming back very soon, Dark Horizons reported. Lost returns with new episodes in January.
In related news, TV Guide Online reported that Lost star Michelle Rodriguez (Ana Lucia) had a lot to say when she was arrested in Hawaii earlier this month for drunk driving. According to documents obtained by KITV-TV, Rodriguez was "very argumentative" during her arrest, at one point telling a cop: "Why don't you just put a gun to my head and shoot me? You've already taken my freedom, you might as well take my life, too!"

This gets complicated, so pay close attention.
First the good news.
Lost finally returns with two episodes beginning Wednesday at 7 p. m. The first is a compilation episode to catch viewers up since the show’s been off for a while. The 8 p. m. offering will be a fresh, all-new regular episode never before seen.
The bad news is if you watch Lost on KATV, you’ll get SEC basketball instead.
Alabama and Auburn fans will be happy, but Lost fans will be fuming.
Channel 7 has done its best to please both audiences while keeping the ABC mothership happy and fulfilling all its contractual obligations.
Lost fans will get to see their show. It’ll be late, late at night unless they record it for viewing at a more convenient time.
Wednesday’s 7 p. m. compilation episode will air after Jimmy Kimmel at 12 : 35 a. m. Thursday morning (considered Wednesday late night in the TV biz ). Wednesday’s all-new 8 p. m. episode will air at 12 : 35 a. m. Friday morning.
Set your VCRs and DVRs accordingly.
Wait. It gets more complicated.
On Jan. 18 ABC plans to air this week’s new 8 p. m. episode at 7 p. m. followed by an all-new episode at 8. KATV will air the Jan. 18 new (8 p. m. ) episode at 12 : 35 a. m. Jan 19 after Kimmel.
That’s KATV’s Lost plan beginning Jan. 18 — that week’s new episode will air that same TV cycle night at 12 : 35 a. m.

First one not worth watching if you are up todate, second one is very much worth watching, one of the better flashback stories in the show.

I thought it was one of the better episodes to date. It answered several questions, showed us 'the monster' and opened up a ton more questions.

Some TV shows are now also uploaded with 720p... yes, 720p HDTV. Comes with a 1.4gb size though - compared to the 350mb of normal rips that's quite huge. Thank god for broadband.
