However, the German army in Italy fought bloody rearguard actions, and Rome fell (June 4, 1944) only after the battles of Monte Cassino and Anzio. In the Atlantic, the submarine threat was virtually ended by the summer of 1944. Throughout German-occupied Europe, underground forces, largely supplied by the Allies, began to wage war against their oppressors.
The Allies, who had signed (Jan. 1, 1942) the United Nations declaration, were drawn closer together militarily by the Casablanca Conference, at which they pledged to continue the war until the unconditional surrender of the Axis, and by the Moscow Conferences, the Quebec Conference, the Cairo Conference, and the Tehran Conference. The invasion of German-held France was decided upon, and Gen. Dwight D. Eisenhower was put in charge of the operation."
The British started the end, and it was achieved through the help of the Russians, the US, and France (shock there).
As for the shipping over seas of middle class jobs, I agree, but it's their right to save money, heck if I was a boss, I'd go for cheapest labour possible. I think the move to over seas labour is in part because of unions. Unions are evil, and no longer necessary now that there are gov't agencies dedicated to equality and safety in the workplace. You see Mael, this is why freedom of speech is a good thing. 2 people can disagree about something,but share the same love/pride for their country. It's something you probably don't understand. It's something you probably take for granted everyday over there in Canada. You call him a moron but I say its a good example of the freedom that my heritage has passed down and earned for me.
If Canadians hate Americans so much then why dont they just airlift themselves over next to Korea, Syria, Russia, or Iran. Maybe they would treat your people better? Maybe you would be more secure... Maybe they would open up some great free trade agreements? (LOL) I would gladly take Australia, or UK to replace Canada's spot in NAFTA. Then again, maybe Canada isn't so bad as a whole. You see Mael, this is why freedom of speech is a good thing. 2 people can disagree about something,but share the same love/pride for their country. It's something you probably don't understand. It's something you probably take for granted everyday over there in Canada. You call him a moron but I say its a good example of the freedom that my heritage has passed down and earned for me.
If Canadians hate Americans so much then why dont they just airlift themselves over next to Korea, Syria, Russia, or Iran. Maybe they would treat your people better? Maybe you would be more secure... Maybe they would open up some great free trade agreements? (LOL) I would gladly take Australia, or UK to replace Canada's spot in NAFTA. Then again, maybe Canada isn't so bad as a whole. Maybe its just the outspoken brainwashed liberals who spoil the whole basket of apples.

arguing with an American is just as pointless as arguing with a terrorist muslim religious freak.
The muslim will always bring up alah's name to make up for his actions an American will always find something to say back to defend his country no matter right or wrong it is.
Both are just as brainwashed.
Both think they know it all, that THEY are the correct ones, that God is with them ,that they are the world's savior.
Americans love to have the spotlight on them, they cant live without it, you guys have the best equiped army so what? you guys have by far more money then any other country so what? you guys supposedly went on the moon so what?
Nothing of this make the US a better country then mine or any other in fact.
