The lack of depth annoys me to no end. p**s poor lore really turns me off. Yes EQ/2 lore isn't the best, but at least there is a ton to read and that allows me to develop some sense of history for my character. But I guess roleplaying isn't the "cool" thing to do anymore.

yes but we dont have 40 lvl 60 ppl who can raid everynight.
In fact even if we did, I doubt we would want to raid mc or onxyia every night.
WTB battlegrounds, more 1 group or couple group lvl 60 content.

the story makes alot more sense if you played through WC3/x that said even then the current 'lore' events are pretty weak.. it will get better when they open up hyjal and northrend since those are the areas WC3 centered around and they have decent lore built up around them.

WoW needs its Velious equivalent expansion. I mean, how much raiding was in Eq before that...granted Kunark had some decent stuff. But, Velious really revolutionized endgame raiding.
I think an expansion like that would be a step in the right direction.

I got borred around lvl 7, pushed on to 10 and got hunter pet and the game got fun again for another 5 levels or so, now it's borring again and I just let other people use the account. EQ1 for lyfe

undead line of quest in silverpine and on into tm about developing a new plague to wipe out alliance is own.
lots of lore in game and lots of unfinished shit, like getting the disk from uld and doing that quest. WTB key quest to enter that place in southern tanaris.

The lore makes about 1000x more sense than EQ's convoluted trash. And WoW's lore runs throughout the entire game... the story of the Dark Iron Dwarves goes from the dwarf noob quests all the way to killing the Emperor of the Dark Irons... I think it's more likely that YOU lack depth!

Yea... gonna second what everyone else is saying here, WoW has a ton more in game story line that 90% of the player base will find themselves reading at some point or another. I know I never did that in EQ.
UBRS, scholomance, stratholme start to suck hard after a while though.
