1) I don't know, but I wouldn't risk it intill you know for certan.
2) I am not sure, but it is better than 2handed or S/S by my observations.
3) Probably the game mechanics being s****y like usual. No GM's to help with shit like that either, so you are f****d (Probably reading it wrong, or not enough info) if you can't respawn.

The difference with holding 2 weapons oppose to 1 is the dmg per hit is more, and your attack should go up ...for example say ur useing 1 sword and your attack is like 30 and you usually hit for 20ish .... well if u put the same excact sword on your attack would prob be around 40-45ish and dmg would prob be like 25-30ish.....
But im not exactly sure, thats just from personal experience that it seems to be that way, i tested it with my warrior useing 2 1h swords, and now the nw dagger rogue i made with 2 daggers.....

Thanks Sousuke, I found the goblins. I was still missing the turn and going all the way around, but finally I realized you get there right from the kalluga gate. I can solo kobolds, bugbears if I'm lucky.
I did the Blood Baron quest btw, the big guy you go to at lvl 10 to specialize ports you to an arena and you have to kill 10 of these mobs that keep spawning. Not too hard, slightly tedious, you get 50k exp for it. Probably could get exp as fast just killing stuff, but nice to have done it.

Is anyone else on the new server getting alot of lag? Just everyone once and awhile the game will freeze for a few seconds and its a problem if you are in the middle of a fight.

Yeah I get several seconds of lag on occasion. Got that on servers 1 and 2 too though. It's usually not too bad; got killed by it a couple of times though.
I can't figure out goblin aggro. They seem completely non-aggressive; you can run through the middle of them with no problem. 98% of the time I can pull one just fine and kill it no problem. But every once in a while (especially in the dark when I can't see wtf I'm doing), I'll suddenly get two, with no idea where the second one came from. And I usually die because I can't tell which one I'm attacking - a lot of times I'll be casting on one that hasn't even gotten to me yet or is out of range. I don't think they assist each other, or do they? Or maybe if someone was fighting one near me and dies, the other one will attack me? Or barely possibly if one steps between the one I'm targetting could it get hit by one of my spells by accident - that would be weird. Or is it a bug - sometimes it seems like a cast at one and a different one comes.
I have a whopping 2 pauldrens and one boot I think now - at a drop rate of maybe 1 in 20, it's going to take a while to get 5 of each. Even Silan was faster than this I think

the bouncers have like a 1 in 3 drop rate or really close to that its very good compared to the rest.

Gob Bouncer aggro on everyone
Pooka and Bugbears only if your attacking one within range
Kobolds don't get any help nor give it.
I got Gob Plate Gauntlets on my Warrior (level 31) on Server2
need other pieces badly

There's still something weird about the aggro. I can be soloing a kobold, and all of a sudden get killed by a bugbear that I wasn't even fighting. It sort of seems to be associated with lag, like I lag out for a few seconds, and then I get a bunch of hits and it says I was killed by a bugbear. Almost as if the lag confused it about what I was fighting. Up to 4 pauldrens, 3 boots, a helmet, 2 guantlets and one pad now. Not leveling that fast because gob exp is kind of slow, and I got killed by lag maybe 7-8 times.
Another weird thing: it started snowing at night. At least with my video card, that made it SO dark that it was totally black. I couldn't even see the ground when I looked down - just one or two faint reddish shimmers. Everything else was totally black, except when a spell would whizz by my head and that would light stuff up for a fraction of a second. I can't find a gamma control anywhere. It's also really, really dark for me at night. I wonder if it's not as dark for everyone else. I'm basically blind 10-15 feet out at night.

Sin, keep the + ele dmg 1h weapons you find and ill buy em or trade em off of ya. I need em badly. Using 2 10-15+ ele dmg right now, even though at 14 im hitting for 120-160 dmg with my first skill, I know I can do more.

I got full grob rogue armor on my dager rogue, hes like 17ish I think ... im using 2 daggers that are 12dmg +12fire dmg .... do like 30-40s a hit, and with Jab i usually do like 130-150ish ...... name is " Pwnt " btw, will prob be my new main, considering i tweaked the armor ect. from that account to this 1

Hmm, so it turns out I was right - those directional spells like ice arrow or flame bolt or wtf it's called, will hit anything in the path. So if you're casting on something and it moves behind something, or something walks in front of it, you can aggro the wrong thing. So hitting 'Z' and casting as fast as you can especially in the dark, is not such a good idea

For PVP, if you're not a rogue, you're kind of screwed. Best you can hope for is to be a support class (mage for snare/debuffs, priest for friendly buffs/healing)... warriors are f****d.
Few tips :
1) Do the quests. Not the silian/armor of destruction/gavolt wing ones, but the other ones. Half of them give out 100-300k, or more worth of gold or items. Decent exp if you do them at low levels.
2) At level 20, do the Gem of Bravery quest. At 30, the reconaissance. At 40, make sure you do the battlefield. You cant do these quests before those levels, and they're designed to give the exact amount of experience to bring you to the next level. In the case of the battlefield quest, if you try it at lvl 41 you will get 0 exp.
3) Hunt kobolds from level 23ish till 30. Kill bugbears from 30-32 if you're an archer/mage. Else, goto DKs for a couple of levels. Then goto colony for mega's or bloodseekers. Soloing scorpions in colony is also possible in low 30's. (Dont try to solo anything past kobolds if you're a priest/warrior) At level 40, do the battlefield, then goto Eslant (you'll be 41) and kill ash knights. Or stick around in colony killing the same shit as before. You should know what to hunt next by the time you hit 45.
4) If you need money, solo kobolds. If you're bored of that, goto one of the first 3 levels of the abyss and solo leeches. If you're high level and need money, go PKing in colony. After you get 1500-2000 NPs, start collecting your stipend.
5) Once you get some money, buy HP scrolls from the vendor. Keep them up full time when in colony. Its costly at times, but its worth it when you can survive more than one shot from a high level archer. (I can do up to 450 dmg per hit on mages)
Thats all i can think of. If you play on Adonis 1, let me know what class you are and you're name, and ill keep whatever items i find. I sell fullplate, +5/6 jewelry, and high level weapons to vendors because i just dont have enough space to try and sell them from a vendor. But if i know what you need, i'll give it to you instead.
Lvl 45 now and PKing fulltime

So my conclusion after doing goblins is that killing kobolds is a waste. The drop rate is way too low, and you level slow what with all the competition and crowding and stuff. Spend a couple levels killing death knights in groups or something. By the time I got to level 26 I could solo bugbears and the drop rate went way up. Spending levels 22-24 killing kobolds was a waste.

I am 31 and I just hunt Kobolds and Bugbears the whole time trying to get my last two items of Plate Goblin Armor (Pads and Boots) sucks much it does. Prolly will play my rogue (level9) on Cypher today.

Man nice dagger.
I have 2, one is 10+16 and one is 14+24 and I want better ones, waaa.
I hit for upwards of 150 now, and next level probably 250+ per style. I hit for 40-60 regularly, 2 times a second it seems. If not, 1 time.

I hate the way ppl talk in this game. Especially "lure". Wtf, lure? Why can't they call it pulling like everyone else? Some idiot is always going to me: "u lure now gogogo". Excuse me? Lure sounds like tying a carrot to a string and hiding behind a bush to trap Bugs Bunny or something. If I were a warrior I'd say "I don't know how to lure, but I can run over there and hit it over the head with a gigantic f*****g hammer if that's what you want".

Yeah I have noticed the same thing. But I have made my final decision to belive that the high majority of people who play KO are between the ages of 5 and 12, from a non English-speaking country, or suffering from Mongolism or some sort of mental retardation.

I have went through at least 4 or 5 of each trying to get the best one of each piece and only have legs left to go.

Get me some for my rogue... actualy nm. I have grown tired of the game unfortionately. I am back to DAoC. PLing a new duo of chars sence I just recently acheived 50 on my theurgist/bonedancer and got them a full 100qua sc set of gear.

Weird. I was getting about one piece per 20 kobold kills, which means I'd have to kill 500 kobolds to get a full 25 pieces. Maybe you kill them faster than I can. Bugbears seem more like one piece in 8-10 or so. Got 4 of the 5 pieces made now, still need helmet. And I can't wear my pants. Unfortunately I got lucky and made the best (I think) version of them (crystal) and I'm probably 5-6 levels away from being able to wear them Although oddly, I prefer my Silan pants anyway. The goblin have 30 more defense, something like 11 hp and mana, plus 3 resistances. But I don't need the resistance, and the silan have 60 hp and 60 mana which is better than the 30 defense. I think an extra 30 def should reduce the damage you take by about 5%.
