There are no armies of ninjas. There are clans. And they were small and relied on stealth. They'd get owned hardcore by an army of knights.

dont get me wrong.. ninjas are cool and all... but... i think in a straight up fight.. a samurai would pwn a ninja... but yea.. in another situation the ninja can kill anything...
besides ninjas arent the subject at hand..
we are talking abuot samurais.. and how they own knights...
now me, personally...if i was a samurai.. i would just straight up stab em... to hand full body weight thrust right through the armor and pwn him so he would be like "omfg my phat lewts failed me"...

knights a more heavily armored and generally better equipt technology wise, poleaxe = best weapon eva.. samuria armor is alot weaker and their bows would be worthless against knights... steel armor = the pwn...

Depends what century you're talking about. Asia only started falling behing technology-wise at about the 16th century. A katana is most effective when using slashing attacks, which all tend to rather useless against plate armor and chainmail. Japanesse armor never really progressed farther than plates of metal interwovern into cloth. As much as I hate to say it the knight is better equiped and all other things been equal (ie. strenght, intelligence, training) the knight would win.
However in a duel type setting I'd take a samurai though, broad sword is too clumsy of a weapon.

most of the foot knights didnt use broadswords, poleaxe was by far the favorite weapon of the knights and it was extremely deadly especially against lighter armor where it could easily crush or pierce the person.
oh and Khrath thats not true at all how do you figure they were lazy, they trained every day and worked hard from like age 8 up until they were knighted at like 20ish, there life wasnt all that easy, they were the lowest tier of the nobility and had to be ready to fight they werent anymore lazy than the samurai prolly were.

Knights are too slow. On horseback I think they would beat a samurai, but on foot they are too slow.

Samurai's wouldn't do well against a Lance charge from the knights mounted on the heavy warhorses of the Middle Ages. Japanese horses were smaller then their European kin.
If they were dismounted, the Katana and training would be a factor in the Samurai's favor.
But really, you'd have to factor in the rest of the army if you wanted an accurate accounting.

knights really arent that slow, saying that just shows that you really dont understand the excelent quality of the armor they wore, they were very capable of running and going fast.. consider this, a knights suit of armor weighed on average about 80 pounds, this was spread across their entire body, now a modern american soldier carries 90 pounds of gear just on their back for the most part so its not nearly as dispursed and would cut down on stamina alot more than a suit of armor would have (tho admitedly swinging a sword is more effort than pulling a trigger!) the joints of the knights armor were well crafted to allow for a full range of motion, the only noticeable weakness would have been impared view due the the helmets they wore.

i tink one ninja could take out 5 knight or 3 samuri
,soooo a clan of ninjas could take out an army of knight OR SAMURI depedning on the size
but they woudl for sure sneak attack them..
i have total faith in the ninja , and the beleifs ninjas live by , , they are by far the coolest m , most stealth and witll one day take voer the earth , s
