Kazaa question (LOL)

So I tried downloading some Linkin Park song (yes yes I know) but every version I got was all distorted. Is there some safeguard thing in Kazaa that stops people from stealing certain bands's songs? pst

Yes, usually a lot of the popular songs are messed up. I've heard shit like some anti-music-piracy organization releases them like that.

use limewire man, no spyware and it's so user friendly that even I can figure it out I have yet to find a corrupted file there.

limewire is packed full of spyware last time I tried it. (2 months ago)

I usually just keep trying and keep trying till I get a good one. It takes me upwards of 10 downloads though...

I've never had a distorted mp3 download, and I only use IRC (irc.weblook2k.com, #mp3addcits) and DC++. Anyone that still uses Kazaa should be riding the short bus every day.

I don't really care for WinMX. I still use K++ because I am to lasy to change.

they download the corrupt song files off kazaa and then go "oopsies that doesnt work rite, i wondr whuts wrong" .. and leave them in their shared folder because they dont understand the concept of what a file is or where a file might be stored



i swear the people who release the corrupt files are laughing their asses off




my friends all get songs where the vocals are replaced by barking dogs or something off kazaa


i never really had the problem, then again i dont download mainstream music because it sucks ...

K++ Dosen't have any spyware. But it still useses Kazaa s****y network. I might give that shareaza a try though. Haven't tried that one yet. I only keep using kazaa because I am lasy and like the interface. But there is so much pure shit to sort through.

It is like that with any P2P program but kazaa is becoming, if not already is the worst. Whenever I do find something I wan't there the person with a good copy has their upload bandwith down to .01k or logs off halfway through and you never find anyone else with a copy.

People at work seem to like WinMX but I hate its interface. I do like that you can bump people up in bandwith or in the que and can see who is in yours waiting to download. Other than that it sucks IMO. Not as many sources and to many people want to 1 for 1 trade instead of just leaving their que open. Personaly I don't care. If I have something you want I don't need to trade as long as you are shareing files.

Anyway I pretty much only download music and have just about every song I can remember or want. New stuff has about a 1 : 100 ratio of being a good enough song to bother. I need a new source for southpark , family guy , simpsons , futurama and married with children episodes. I have pretty much all I can find on kazaa and winmx. still missing lots of them though and half of the ones I have were encoded very s****y both sound and picture quality.

Other than suprnova and IRC are there any other sources anyone uses out there for these that has decent quality?
