I'm not much into rap, but I like Rock Superstar by Cypress Hill, if that can be considered a rap song. I also like that new Eminem song "Lose Yourself", although it's on the radio too much lately. That guy can do some cool stuff with his voice.

Bombs over Baghdad- outkast
Regulate- Warren G
The Message- Nas
Street Dreams- Nas
Favor for a Favor- nas feat. scarface

As you can tell i might be a bit bias, but nas is a damn good rapper Smile

Cypress Hills only good song was "How I Could Just Kill a Man" and even that sucked, what made it good was that Rage Against the Machine covered it and turned it into a phenomenol song.

Not that anyone remembers it, but I liked Coolios gangstas paradise. Other than that, Gin and Juice by Snoop is the only one that really sticks out.

OMG that song is so funny, my favoite by him is Pretty Fly For a Rabbi though. Too bad it didn't make it big.

So how's by you? Have you seen this Jew?
Reads the Torah, does his own accounting too
Workin' like a dog at the synagogue
He's there all day, he's there all day
Just say "Vay iz mir!" and he'll kick into gear
He'll bring you lots of cheer and maybe bagels with some shmeer
Just grab your yarmulka and
Hey! Hey! Do that Hebrew thing!....

LoL

Rap isn't music, it isn't art, it isn't anything but a giant steaming turd recorded and played back for your enjoyment.

If you like rap, you should get a shotgun and blow your f*****g head off.

Rap is the worst form of "music" ever conceived, ever imagined, ever....

Period.

The previous statements are absolute truth. Nothing you can say will change the fact that Rap sucks f*****g shit, and so do people that like it.

Wu Tang Clan Ain't Nuthin to f**k Wit - Enter the Wu-Tang, the 36 Chambers, Track 1

There's no place to hide
when I step inside
the room
Dr. Doom
Prepare for the boom
Bam
Aw- man
I jam, slam and scream like Tar-zan

I used to be so down with the Wu-Tang, prior to their 3rd album when they became comic book parodies of their former selves. But back when they first came out, Method Man, ODB, Gza, Ghostface, Rza, and even Raekwon were all so dope.

flowerprincess, money does NOT equal quality - success in the entertainment industy often means lowest common denominator, your argument is worthless

my all time favorite rap songs:

You Be Illin - Run DMC
Brass Monkey - Beastie Boys
Me Myself and I - De La Soul
Stoned is the Way of the Walk - Cypress Hill (remember Sister Maggie, breasts were kinda saggy, used to sell me buddah out of f****d up little baggies)

old skool, when rap was funny, more of a joke than anything else, not trying to be serious or the hardcore thug b******t

I'm not much of a rap fan, but I find myself liking Eminem more and more all the time. Maybe because we're from the same town, or maybe because I like his subject matter, or maybe because he's white (lol)... I dunno.

My favorite rap song is probably 'Stan.'

My *mother* even likes that song, she saw Em perform on an SNL rerun a few days ago and she was like 'wow he does a really great job!' 8 Mile converted her lol.

Hardcore thugs and the stupid bling bling shit have basically ruined rap. It was cooler when rappers were on welfare.

My argument is that im sure the people like P. Diddy who have around 300 mill. + dont give a shit what people like sab think. People who say rap isnt a form of music etc. Vek, you take things to indepth.

Edit- left a few letters out.

Every time you post it reassures me of how stupid you are. The only rapper that was on welfare was probly ODB. I cant think of one succesful rapper that doesnt have a shit load of money. And if you listened to any rap music in the last 2 years you would know that they really dont rap about the "bling bling" as much as they used to, if at all. And I think the "bling bling" you are talking about might be from the song Bling Bling, this song was from the Cash Money Millionares and they often rapped about all the money they had. Hope that clears some things up for you.
