I was running a pildle bot script in d2 a while ago. I was trying to explain to my friend the beauty of watching a script you wrote run when he asked me why i even bother playing.

They could just set your PvP flag when you're running a script to appease the disapproving idiots and cocksuckers. Of course the HEHEs would never stop with the ability to script PvP safeguards!

But yea, The 3rd party program to run in windowed mode was the key that allowed hacks. I didn't get banned/asked about/anything else that went on.
Zoned into ST with a lvl 30 rogue (Flabby!) This didn't get me caught
Zoned 90% of CoS members into Plane of Mischief, this didn't get me caught (FYI - Rootus WAS the first person to successfully make the run, the CoH link just got broke after the 1st night)
Graphic hacks which would allow you to view the model of any item/weapon in the game (was interesting, some models got put in the game for swords/weapons that never got found or used.. some pretty cool ones) |
