Why the f**k are most of the people who play WoW obnoxious retards? I get about 4 random guild invites per day, plus about 3 random group invites per hour, often while simply running around or being afk in an inn. The worst was some obnoxious idiot that followed me around spam inviting me without saying anything while i was playing an alt, HI I'M f*****g LEVEL FIVE, YOURE LEVEL 3, AND I'M NOT EVEN KILLING ANYTHING.
Is it really that hard to send a tell "HAY IM KILLING GNOLLS WANNA HEPL???" or something?

And how about the people that see me killing 2 mobs at once (omg! it's hard!!1!) and decide that I can't handle it so they'll take one off my hands (fortunately I can usually do enough damage to get exp on it, thanks for the help suckers, but sometimes I can't)

It's actually a little better than that.. as long as you land the first hit the xp's yours.. use it to your advantage. I like to shoot a mob with my gun while I see some c**t druid loading her spells up.. works everytime.
I thought this rant was going to start out with "Jesus f*****g Christ is everyone in this g*****n game a Hunter?" That would be my complaint. I can deal with random invites.. I can't deal with EQ Druid part deux.

Usually my thorns buff takes care of first hit on adds, but sometimes people tag them on inc before i can switch targets.
But seriously, I was running through Northshire for some quest earlier, and a LEVEL TWO PALADIN INVITES ME TO A GROUP.

Even worse.
One time some just continually tried inviting me to go do ogre's in loch modan. He kept 'helping' me with my kills because I wouldn't join or speak to him. He was a NE rogue like 2 levels above and both weps with a red enchantment. He kept saying shit so I sat down and reported him for verbal and physical harassment. I don't know if anything happened to him though. 'GM' interaction with players I almost non-existant it seems.
God I hate these people.
And then when you do group, people don't read the quest you have to do and are f*****g morons. I was in wetland and we ere doing the quest where you kill the undead boat captain persona dn then you take his key to the bottom of the ship to open a chest and then go to a priest in town to finish it. These morons got the key, then went to town looking for the priest (OMG WTF IS GLORIN STEELBROW??!!?) while I attempted and died a few times trying to kill the undead around it to get near it. Eventually when I'm able to get near the chest to open it, I see that there's no channeling to do this part of the quest, get annoyed with myself and leave the boat. At this point, everyone has realized that they need to open this chest and are JUST reaching the boat as I leave. I tell them I got it and I left.
God I hate these people.

what iv noticed more often is not getting groups. ill be in a area killing mobs to try and get to the quest "boss" and see 1-2 people come running though kill the boss(after i cleared the way) and run off.this is allaince side tho, iv actually rarely had this happen on horde.maybe its just the server, but alliance on wisperwind are mostly greedy selfish p****s.
dorks not reading the quests really get to me tho.in general they tell you everything you need to know, but i guess its to much work for people to do something for themselves and spend 10secs scanning the quest log.

When I left my first guild in my high 40's, then there were hardly any on the server including FoH, I got random guild invites as I was grinding from people who were in Orgrimmar for their s****y guilds and crap.
I said the same thing to each and every one of them, "Have a great time with your f*****g 10 year old s****y guild. Inviting people without asking them a few questions at the very least is the best way to make a GREAT guild!"
Obviously they were stupid enough not to understand the sarcasm and would just keep inviting.

I've done tests with this, and I beg to differ. I had Xarp kill shit after I marked it and I was getting substantially less experience than I was if I were killing it, or attacking it after I marked it and he was attacking it as well.

depends on the xp thing... if the mob you tag is an xp mob for the person killing it (ie grenn or better) the tagger gets full xp

so a lvl 36 priest tags a lvl 38 mob(green to 60).. lvl 60 does the rest of the damage including kill.. the lvl 36 priest gets full xp
however if that mob is lvl 37 (white to the 60) then the xp is substantially reduced for the 36 priest

Well I was mid/high 40's, and Xarp was 60. This means that it was green, according to your level scales, and I was getting substantially less.

Me and my brother don't play anymore and we're about to cancel the account. In the beginning, there were a lot of quests that got you through the levels fast. At 30+, all the quests in an area only give like 1.5 levels and then you have to grind the next 5 levels on mobs to get or be able to do quests in another area. I hate grinding. This is why I got bored of it. And lasy night I uninstalled WoW on this computer to make room for a 24GB download. Maybe it would have been more enjoyable to start on PvP but it's too late now.
