I think I'd rather become a Master Bio-Engineer once, then delete my character and level up a Master Bio-Engineer again rather than play a Jedi.

I haven't played SWG in 9 months, but started up again a few weeks ago. So how exactly IS the force sensitive slot opened? I mean, How do you know when you have mastered enough professions to where you can create your Jedi char?

from what i was told you need 5 professions, 3 or 4 of em you can get from using a holocron. But I think if you get down to the last profession seeing how many skill points you have left you should be able to narrow down the list pretty good on what your last profession is.

The only time my friend dies from any pvp (he's a jedi) is when theres a horde of people after his ass. Can't ever go one on one, it's more like one vs 5-10 most of the time....

a silent holocron is totally random and based on a random seed created when you activate your account. Rumors about how to determine your path are about as numerous as rumors on how to make the ancient cyclops in south ro spawn.
In 2 months time tops Jedi holocron grinding will be gone.. they're revamping the class.
