Ive Never Played Guild Wars, I have WOW is it good??
It is a terrific game if you play solo
The game is structured to allow group play, but people, as a rule,suck.

Lol thats true i lvl 8 once told my lvl 20 hes better than me took him to the my guild hall and killed him so many times he just quit. very good game though
It is all instanced, so think about that b4 you buy.
I played a little guild wars and wasnt impressed, but I canned my wow account too, so I guess pick your poison. I am waiting for WAR online for my next attempt, but we shall see how it all hashes out
WoW is a great game..
Guild wars is a GREAT game... but, like many f my friends. guild wars kinda wares down on you and you find yourself taking breaks that can last for mounths at times. but once u get back into it, its a great game.. but the down side is, the game isnt that cheap.. ur gonna be blowing alot of money for this game, not to mention recently they have been blowing exspandsions out like no tomarrow... each costing 50$ when they come out :/ but hey.. i really do recomend this game

you cant jump in guild wars, so if you are one of those tweaker jump freaks in wow you probably wont like the game much
I agree with the others, Its a great game because the world is so big and you have unlimited possibilities on where to go and what to do. Its a great pvp game also if you can find you're self a good team. Another great thing is that the game is free to play but each costs 50$ when they come out which can add up. I still would recommend it.

unlike WoW, you can rely solely on npc's to take you through PvE content. you can pvp with them as well, but they're less likely to be good enough to win most matches.
it gets a little boring after awhile tho i've made numerous characters because once i got to 20 and got all my gear to pvp its just not all that fun as people say it is.

Guild wars is less interactive with other players when you PVE, you wont ever find someone you dont know KS your mobs, but since there pratically no grinding.. idnm. Most of xp goes through quests and since there's only 20 lvl you reach that pretty fast (half of the game -- quest wise).
cant talk about pvp since i never really pvped in gw.

If you havent PvP'd in guild wars then you can't really give an opinion on the game. The entire game revolves around PvP, its much different from all other mmorpg's, and in a good way i think!

GW is a really great game if you like to play in groups with other players and if you can't find a group with real players you can group with the avaliable henchmen. Where as WoW you can't do an instance without real players. However GW doesn't really have solo content other then farming, also you don't have to spend 3+straight hours to get into GW end content. Unlike WoW finding a good 25m raid group/guild can be a little difficult.
WoW is great, Guild Wars is great... Somebodies loves wow and somebodies love GW, and somebodies hate WoW or somebodies hate GW...

Depending on your style of play I really think matters. If you like playing with people I think WoW is the way to go. If you don't mind playing alone, GW. Each game has a pro and con about it. I think the graphics in GW are better, but then again, you don't get as much freedom to roam around.
But I think both games are great (I have both) and I am sometimes in the mood for either. You can always just get the first GW (since there is no monthly fee) and try it for a while. Especially if you get bored in WoW, GW is a good way to escape for a bit.

WoW is pretty good if you like group play.
