I was told something, but I don’t know if this is true or something is just trying to make a practical joke on me. I was told that there is a special time of the year when you are suppose to start playing Everquest 2 and if you don’t do it right then, it is not the same game. Is too late to start playing Everquest 2?

To be honest this is the first time that I heard that there is something like the right time to start playing any game and especially this one in particular. Maybe I am wrong, or maybe I was just lucky to start playing it at the right time, but I don’t see that I am missing on anything if I am not playing this game when it is told to be the best time for it. But if there is a particular time that you just have to play this game, then this is the time to start playing this game. I am almost reaching my first year anniversary and I think that this is that particular time period that you heard about.

EQ2 is the same all year around. The game gets better every couple of months because of Live REPLACEs.

Yes EQ2 has a monthly subscription fee. Same as most, about 13.99
To answer the OP question, no it is never too late to start playing. You can start whenever you would like. Time doesn't really matter, it was just a joke =]
