If two sides keep fighting, everyone will die. If all the members of one faction are extinguished, then the remaining faction will find new things to b***h about until they eventually reach a breaking point, and start shooting at each other.
Here we have people who live in the North claiming they are different from people in the South. It wasn't so long ago we had a civil war here.
If you isolate 20 men from the same platoon, eventually they will form cliques and factions. Eventually they will war with each other.
Humans choose to seek differences and eliminate anyone who is different. This is nothing new and certainly not limited to the psychopaths in the mid-east. Their situation is just more strained, with more history behind it.
