Been reading a few reviews and all of them say unless your a hardcore GW player there is no need for the newest expasion. All I do is PVP with premade chars, do I need the new expansion to keep up or is it a viable option to skip it.

I would just buy the skill set from their online store if all you do is pvp

I'd say just buy the skill set like he said, a lot of the top builds keep adjusting with new expansions coming out. You can still pvp with out it (I do) it just makes it hard sometimes when you want a build but cant get one or two skills lol.
