If I am able to have more classes in Final Fantasy XI, then I will like to play this game. Do you know if this is possible to be achieved in this game? If you have experience with this then you should be telling us about it. Is it possible to be multi-classed in Final Fantasy XI?

Multi class in Final Fantasy XI is very much possible. Maybe you should be thinking more in line of how you will be able to manage this more then one class. This is a much bigger problem then anything other you will face in this game. Trust me I have been there. I was also very much interested if there is a multy class possibility in this game and I was not interested in anything further then this, but I was wrong. Don’t be like me and think a little bit more about what you will do when you get this option to work for you.

One character can be switched to any job. As for the new expansion jobs, you have to unlock them through a quest. If you start out as one job and don't like it, you can change it to another.
A multi-class example would be Black Mage with sub-job of White Mage or Red Mage. Another might be Ninja with sub-job of Warrior for Provoke Job Ability or Dark Knight for Stun Magic Ability.

A lot of people have multiple classes (called jobs in FFXI). I and most of the my LS mates have multiple level 75 jobs. Best thing about this is that you can level as many jobs as you like on that same character
