I beta tested WAR and stuck with it a couple of months after release then i took a break from it because of the whole no incentive for RVR in T4 and some classes being OP and whatnot.
Just wanted to know if its a good time to go back to WAR?

Why not. There are some improvements. But, if you liked it in Beta, you'd probably like it more now.
returning players will have a vastly different experience depending on what realm they play on. dark crag is probably the most active server right now, so if you return then you should start a character there.

The game is pretty good now.
Patch 1.3 will be coming out tomorrow, so I would say its a good time to come back, atleast til Aion is released!

fruitsnake have you been in Aion Beta? Is it good game?
Seems that warhammer is dying slowly and they are trying to give free time codes now.
Sorry , but i think that Aion is a fail. Wow is much better then this , and wow is starting to lose players even now. I tested wow / aoc / war, and the game that can satisfy my needs is Age of Conan...i think that what we seek in a game is good graphic. Aion even got worse graphic then wow does , and you know what that means .
I went back to try WAR again. To me, it was always fun when the population was balanced and people were on, even with the bugs from before.
Like others said, if you go back, make sure you go to a server with a good pop and you can still have some fun.

Warhammer Online in tiers 1-3 is the best PVP experience u can get in MMO right now.
But Tier 4 (end game) still need TONS of work. If they will "FIX" T4 and keep bug fixing this game, then by the end of the year, it might be a solid MMO and a good alternative for people who hate Asian mmos

i heard there's more stuff to do now, but how much i have no clue. but 1.3b seems to have fixed a bunch of problems, but introducing new ones as well.
i'd try it again if i wwasn't in school. i think mythic has a thing where they give you one month free for coming back.

I'm currently enjoying this game 
im about to re-sub on the volkmar server, i think its a great time to come back im in a very similar situation as you, i played from day 1 of live, and loved it even with its short-comings
It was such fun at one time. I will have to go back and play if it truly is getting better. I agree the PVP was top notch at low levels.

Definately go back! The game is still not perfect but if you find a good group of people to play with it is a ton of fun! Especially T4
Right now u should wait a week or two (for hotfixes after 1.3.1 bugs).
