Hello! Guild Wars somehow caught my attention from one of my chats and I am now thinking to try it. Well I am not much of the gamer, but in most of the MMO's I found farming as needed part of each game. So I now wonder is it the same thing with Guild Wars, is farming being a necessity to go through the game? Could anyone spread some rumor or facts in here?

Actually I am not sure what is going on with farming in Guild Wars. I am hearing much more about the traders and vendors then how and where to fetch some item. They say GW is more oriented to PvP and skills then rare items but they will be there because of course they have to compromise to get all kind of gamers to their MMO side. But I can just say if they are offering the player-driven economy then I am in, being fed up with games where I can repair my own shield because it is a luxury, and I dont even want to mention the prices of gold in some of the games, heh.
